How it works
- Sealed seed. When the draw is scheduled, the server picks 32 random bytes and publishes only their SHA-256 fingerprint. Changing the seed later would change the fingerprint.
- Public numbers. At the draw, each captain calls out a number from 1 to 99. Nobody knows them in advance.
- Shuffle. Seed + numbers are hashed into a final seed, which drives a fair shuffle of the six teams.
- Alternate. Picks go A, B, A, B, A, B.
- Check. The seed is revealed and anyone can re-run the shuffle in their browser.
